6/11/2010 – I am spit roasting a whole pig using 30 ply 2 lb cone twine. Can it stand charcoal heat for 4 hours?
Do sell Barbecue rotisserie trusting needles?
Response From Southern Indiana Butcher Supply: The twine should work fine for a properly trussed pig cooking at the correct temperature/ height over a properly prepared charcoal ember fire.
At this time we do not have trussing needles available.
