Summer Sausage Kit. Everything you need but the meat to make 25 pounds of delicious summer sausage. Includes 18oz bag of Leggs Old Plantation summer sausage seasoning, fibrous casings, cure, and directions. Can be used for wild game, beef, pork, poultry. Please select casing style. All casings are 2 1/2 X 20 fibrous.

This is fabulous summer sausage and the instructions that come with it are superb! We don't have a smokehouse just a backyard smoker and we made this work just fine. Great with some good horseradish mustard. We made our with 20 lbs. venison and 5 lbs. pork fat and it is perfect. Can't wait to try the salami.

We have used this twice now. Everyone we share our meat with say that it is the best summer sausage they have ever had. We think it is too. My wife and I really enjoy making venison sausage together and then we smoke in in our smoker. She even went hunting with me last night!

WOW! I bought 4 kits to process my mule deer, antelope, and part of an elk. I followed the directions and have been able to sample the product. I must say I am VERY, VERY happy with the entire experience.
~Price was reasonable.
~Shipping was fast.
~Instructions were clear.
~Taste was everything I hoped it would be.

Most hunters know someone that doesn't enjoy wild meat. I live in Las Vegas and hunting isn't the most common activity amongst the citizens in a large city. Most of the people I work with, and even my wife, do not like or wish to try wild meat. At work, I told everyone I had made summer sausage and offered a sample to anyone who wanted it. I didn't tell them it was wild game. They gobbled it up and begged for more! I told them it was one of the animals I had killed this season and they flinched but didn't care. They wanted their own to take home because they really enjoyed it that much. I just wanted to say thank you for making such a great product. I have many of my fellow hunters convinced after sampling your product. I will be in touch next season but in a larger way.
My only complaint is my non-hunting friends are attempting to mooch all of my hard earned sausage! I've decided they have to hunt their own animal next year because I'm not parting with any more.
