12/27/2013 – Does the meat pump disassemble for cleaning? My husband said it does, but I cannot get the top plunger off. I can only get the needle off. I did not see it until after it was used and do not want to damage it!

Response From Southern Indiana Butcher Supply: The pump completely disassembles for cleaning. The top is threaded and the top cover unscrews by holding the cylinder stationary and grasping the two outside rings and turning counter clockwise. You should pull the plunger out about 1/2 way just to get the middle ring out of the way. The piston on the bottom of the plunger shaft also unscrews.

If you add the item to your cart you may use the "Determine Shipping and Handling and Sales Tax" link located under the "Total" and above lower "Check Out" button to generate a shipping cost. A dialog box will appear where you will enter your address information. Click submit and use the resulting dropdown showing different shipping options available.
