Fibrous Sausage Casing Printed: VENISON 2-1/2 X 20 Mahogany (Stuffing Diameter 2.87")

Mahogany colored fibrous sausage casings 2-1/2 x 20" are string tied on one end. These high quality sausage casings have the Deer Head Logo and are printed "VENISON SAUSAGE - NOT FOR SALE". Casings stuff about 3 pounds each. Stuffing diameter is 2.87 inches. Mahogany casings allow for uniform coloring of the finished product.

Fibrous casings are smoke permeable, easy to use, and keep indefinitely when properly stored. Use these casings for deer summer sausage, salami, bologna, or smoked bologna. Soak casings in warm water for 20 minutes before stuffing. Store unused casings in a plastic bag in a cool dry place. Sold individually, bundles of 25, bundles of 100, or box of 1000 casings. Larger quantities may require a lead time.
